Summer 2009 courses have been created

Summer 2009 courses have been created in Blackboard.

In order to conserve space on our servers, we are only creating courses in Blackboard for those with registered students.  If nobody has signed up for your course yet, you will not see when you log onto Blackboard.  As soon as someone registers, your course should be listed in Blackboard 24 hours later.

If you are teaching a course this summer, have registered students, and still do not see it when you log into Blackboard, please let us know.

Please note that all Summer 2009 courses will say "(unavailable)" when you log into Blackboard.  That means that your summer courses are currently hidden from students.  At the start of the semester, instructors will need to activate their courses so students may access them.

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know!

    Hello,

The SPD class I’m teaching this summer, CEI588.S30 (Children’s Development) just disappeared from Blackboard. It was available before and I do have two students enrolled in the class.

    Could you please help me?

    Many thanks!

Please contact us at blackboard@stonybrook.edu instead of through the blog.

    CEI 588.S30 for Summer 2009:
    1. Has no instructor of record listed
    2. Has no students enrolled

Once your department lists you as instructor in Peoplesoft, and students have enrolled, the course will appear for you in Blackboard.
