When downloading the Blackboard Gradebook using Internet Explorer 7 or 8, the information in the Excel file or CSV sometimes does not match what is in Blackboard.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or 8, please follow these steps before downloading your Gradebook:
- Select Tools from the IE menu.
- Select Internet Options.
- Under the General tab, click the Settings button next to Browsing History.
- Select Automatically for "Check for newer versions of stored pages," then click OK.
- Click OK.
- Close and restart IE.
If you already have an earlier version of the Gradebook saved to your computer, do not override it with the new version. Instead, rename the new file (Example: gb_export2.xls), then save it.
