Students! Don’t see your courses in Blackboard?
Your courses might not show up for one or more reasons:
Did you just register today? It takes 24 hours for newly registered courses to appear in Blackboard.
Your instructor hasn’t activated your course yet. [...]
On Monday, May 4, 2009, all students will be using MySBmail instead of Sparky. Please see our documentation on how to move your mail from Sparky to MySBmail, or speak to a Help Desk consultant in either the Main Library or Union SINC site (631-632-9602 or helpme@stonybrook.edu).
Stony Brook email should be going to Yahoo addresses again. Any messages sent between 10/10 and today may not have gone through, so check with your professors and classmates and make sure you didn’t miss anything.
The other big email systems (Gmail, Hotmail, Optonline, and AOL) were unaffected.
If you have specified a Yahoo address as your e-mail in Blackboard, please know that as of Friday, October 10th, sometime after 5pm, Yahoo began blocking mail sent from Stony Brook.
Until the problem is resolved, Yahoo users may not receive messages sent through Blackboard.
Please specify a different e-mail address in the system.

As long as you are listed as an instructor in SOLAR/Peoplesoft and have at least 1 student registered for your course, you should see your Blackboard course when you log in.
